Robert H. Glorch is “Of Counsel” attorney for the Law Offices of Jeffrey R. Gottlieb, LLC, located in Palatine, Illinois. Mr. Glorch received his Bachelor’s degree from Knox College and his J.D. from the University of Illinois. He has practiced since 1971 with the firm and its predecessors.
Mr. Glorch has given numerous seminars and presentations on the topic of estate planning, and has given several presentations on estate planning for parents of handicapped individuals. He is a member of The Financial Planning Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and a past member of the Board of Directors as well as serving as President for two terms and Past President for one term of the Greater O’Hare Satellite of the Greater Chicago International Association of Financial Planners. In addition, he is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council and The Chicago Council on Planned Giving. He is a former board member for The Chicago Council on Planned Giving. He served as Chairman of the Greater O’Hare Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning 1991 Symposium and has served on the planning committee and faculty for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education Annual Estate Planning Short Course. He is currently a board member and Vice President for Development of the Harper College Educational Foundation, Palatine, Illinois.
Mr. Glorch has authored articles on “Estate Planning for Longevity”, “Grantor Retained Income Trusts”, “Current Developments on the Right to Die” and “Planning for Estates Over $1.2 Million”. He has taught estate planning at Harper College, Palatine, Illinois, DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois and is an adjunct faculty member at the College for Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado. Mr. Glorch has also taught estate planning at the First National Bank of Chicago, LaSalle National Bank in Chicago, The Teachers’ Retirement System of Illinois, the U.S. Custom’s Service and the Illinois Institute For Continuing Education. He also appeared on the WAIT AM 850 “Smart Money Strategies” radio program.
